The Ides of March is when Julius Caesar was warned his death would come. His wife predicted it in a dream and a note was sent to him. Also a sorcerer foretold him that he would die on The Ides of March.
This I Caesar Crossing The River Rubicon. This was a very important decision in history because if Caesar went to Rome alone it meant his prosecution. Also if he returned to Rome with his army his it meant a civil war. So either way it was a large risk. Caesar chose to cross with his army effecting lives but he survived and went on to become Rome's best ruler and dictator. Before he crossed he said this famous quote: "The Die is Cast" this means he has made is decision and now its time to follow it.
